Description

Completing this course will gain trainees an award from the Royal Lifesaving Society UK and it is delivered by CTC Training and Development staff that have specific leisure industry experience. Any workplace with a pool must have a member of staff designated as ‘on-call’ to respond to any emergencies, as laid out in Paragraph 193 of the HSE publication “Managing Health and Safety in Swimming Pools”.

It’s essential that all on-call staff are trained in pool rescue, CPR techniques and first aid and our Emergency Pool Responder course is designed to do just that. The programme trains ancillary staff to provide back up and support for the lifeguard team (if available) when responding to an emergency.

All courses are delivered within leisure operators premises and the price listed is based on groups of 12 learners attending.

Slide Andy, Chris and team are the ultimate professionals. We booked a school one day first aid
training, for all, and a paediatric course. The booking process was competitively priced, easy
and friendly. On the day everything went smoothly. Andy has a professional, common sense
approach and knew exactly what schools first aid training should be. Easy to follow and we all
felt the CPR was made simpler than in previous years. Thanks again. See you in 3 years!
